In this article we offer a few tips that you may find use to ensure that you take care of your Ugg Classic Argyle Boots properly.

Tip 1 – It is important that even before you wear your boots for the first time that you apply a stain and water repellent coating to them. This is very important with these boots although the merino wool from which they outer part of the boot is durable it cannot protect itself easily from water ingression.

If at all unsure what to use then ask the seller to recommend a product. Plus a quick search online will offer some advice about what is most suitable for protecting your Ugg Classic Argyle boots.

Tip 2 – If you do need to wash your boots at any stage then it is far better that you do so by hand rather than in a washing machine. Unfortunately there is a greater chance of the shape of the boots being lost this way. Also make sure that you don’t soak the boot completely in water, instead just wipe them over with a very damp cloth to help make the surface wet but not soaked.

Tip 3 – Another thing to do prior to washing your boots is to take a soft cloth as this may be able to get rid of some of the dirt and dust that has accumulated on your boots when being worn. Plus by brushing them in this way initially you can then identify the stains on them that may require specific treatment using cleaning products. As you brush the boots to remove surface dirt make sure that you do so very gently otherwise the surface of the knit could be easily damaged.

Tip 4 – Should you need to apply any sort of cleaning solution to remove the more stubborn marks on our Classic Argyle boots make sure that you dilute it first. Applying the undiluted solution to the boots directly can lead to more damage being caused to the boots. Plus use a sponge or soft cloth to apply the diluted solution to the area that needs cleaning and use very gentle rubbing motions.

Tip 5 – Finally when it comes to taking care of your Ugg Classic Argyle boots make sure that you rinse them with clean cold water to ensure that any residue of the cleaning products has been removed. Then stuff them very lightly with paper (can use newspaper if you wish) as this will help them to retain their shape. After stuffing them leave them in a place for 24 hours to dry, but avoid placing them near any direct heat source (such as a radiator) or in direct sunlight.
